They decks are... almost finished !

Hello, hope you are fine and safe in your part of the world. 

I get the great news from Noir Arts that the decks would be all ready soon and sent to me next week or the week after. They explain to me the hot foil seals were not the best idea! It was a really long process to put them right on the decks...

For now, I send a final notice with backerkit to let you change your address if you need to. If not, you are fine.

The decks, the sleeves, the stamps and the boxes !

Hello, patient supports!

I am so impatient to have all this in my hands and send everything. For now on, here are the news :

• the decks are almost all ready. The hot foil seals make the process longer, as they need to be put one by one... Noir arts team hates me right now! But I am sure you will agree it worth it.
• The sleeves are all printed and I have them with me, I visit Studio Pression and bring them back to my studio. They also are waiting for the decks.
• Thibaut Malet starts making the wood deluxe boxes and it is fascinating to see that coming.
• I finalize and get the "tax stamps" this week and I am so happy with them. They will give the final touch to everything.

I guess the decks will be finished and sealed in August, then they need to travel to me, and I need to prepare everything. So early September seems to be a good estimate to send everything. Fingers crossed.

My only concern now is to get the dices in time. I will explain when I have more info. But if I will send them separately if I do not have them soon.

Now here comes some photo of the making of. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do and help you wait a little more.

I hope you are fine and safe in these crazy times. I hope you will appreciate this news. Noir Arts just send me a first picture of the Copper edition of the decks before they are sealed. I am so pleased to see the hot foil seal work too! Here are more

I still did not know when I will have them all, because this is just the visible part of the iceberg! Also, Noir arts told me the situation is still complicated in Ukrain with COVID... Just hope it won't be too long.

The coins are here !!!

I just get them delivered to my grandmother's house! Yes, because it is 450 kg of packages and she has a large place to put them! My design studio is on the second floor and even if I need to lose some weight after the quarantine, I was not ready for that! Here come some photos...

4 of the 5 boxes with the tuck cases are now in Noir arts hands! They start production, but can not tell the exact time it will take, as one box is missing. It is as frustrating for you as for me. Keep fingers crossed.

The sleeves are printed

As you can see from the above picture, we finally expend the "precious metal" concept... Instead of doing them all in copper, we did it in 3 hot foils: double sleeves are copper, triple sleeves are silver, and quadruple sleeves are gold! I hope you like this.

The coins are finished!

So cool to see these coming to life. They are now traveling to me, hope it won't be too long... Here is a preview photo send my the workshop

Slowely but surely

I hope you are fine and safe. 

I always want to have images to come with updates, they tell you more than simple words... But this can not be explained with images. The tucks cases are still traveling to Ukraine. This time I send them in 5 packages, as last time we lost weeks when they well sent all together and stuck in customs. I firstly sent 2  boxes, then 3. The good news is that 2 first boxes are now at Noir arts, in Ukraine. I hope the 3 others will arrive next week. Then they can finalize everything and send the decks to me. 

As a lot of you are collectors, here comes the final quantities of the Precious metal edition and the collector's edition. I hope this answers all your questions.

The sleeves

Studio Pression will start printing the sleeves next week too now they can work fully and... order paper! Also, we decide to do them in hot foil instead of just letterpress printing. So they will be in copper hot foil on black. The 4 shades of grey edition will come with a grey paper / white hot foil sleeve!

The coins

The production is well engaged in these and I just get photos. The coins have been cast, and now they are going to move to the next stage of the production, adding varnish, coating, and color.

The coins will come in a small black tote bag with white silkscreen printing. 

The box

We also went to the next step with Thibault Malet on the special box set. It will finally be made of wood, painting in black outside and leave it in wood inside. We try to see how to print on them...
